About The Birthing Center

Pregnancy and birth are two of the most important experiences in your life. Both deserve careful and thoughtful preparation. Our team of highly-trained, professional and devoted doctors and nurses work together to provide the best possible birth experience for you.

Labor and Delivery

Our Birth Center is designed to be supportive and nurturing of the infant and the family. We have spacious and private labor/delivery suites appointed with amenities to make you feel at home through your entire birth experience. All rooms have a private bathroom and accommodations for dad or other family member to stay overnight. We give our patients have the opportunity to bond with your baby in a quiet, beautiful setting.

We have state-of-the-art equipment, technology and highly-trained staff to ensure the best care for you and your baby. We understand that every birth is unique and we are dedicated to working with you to create the best experience possible for you and your family.

Pediatric Hospitalists

Moms and dads will have peace of mind knowing that our in-hospital pediatricians are available around the clock for newborn exams and care.

Nursery

Family members can get a look at their new additions through the glass to the nursery, where babies often get their first examinations. There is even a step-up platform for big brothers and sisters to get a better view.

Before Your Baby Arrives

OB Registration

During your second trimester, you can pre-register at Eden online so we can anticipate your arrival and quickly admit you when you are in active labor.

Tours of the Birthing Center

We encourage you and your family to take a tour of The Birthing Center. The tour is your family's personal introduction to Eden and The Birthing Center staff. You'll learn about the comfort and security of having your baby at Eden and visit our spacious birthing rooms, newborn nursery and patient rooms. Tours are also conducted in Spanish each month.

Eden's Birthing Center tours are free and include time for questions for our staff. Fathers or other support persons and older children are welcome. To schedule a tour, please call (888) 4HLTHED (445-8433).

Classes and Support Groups

We offer a wide range of classes and support groups to help you and your family prepare for your new arrival, including childbirth, breastfeeding, and monthly forums covering a number of topics of interest to expectant and new parents. Our classes are led by experienced health and childbirth educators and professional staff from the medical center.
