Sutter East Bay Neuroscience Center

Since 2005 the Sutter East Bay Neuroscience Center (SEBNC) has joined together the expertise of neurosurgeons, neuro-interventionalists, and other specialists with state-of-the-art technology to bring advanced treatment options to patients in the East Bay region, and beyond.

We have achieved outstanding patient outcomes using primarily minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of brain tumors, vascular disorders, movement disorders, and spinal and peripheral nerve problems. The SEBNC was one of only two Bay Area hospitals to have a better-than-average mortality rate for craniotomies (California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development 2007 report).

Our interdisciplinary team approach ensures that no option is overlooked and no gap in treatment is allowed to surface. Our facility includes a dedicated Neurological Intensive Care Unit and Interventional Radiology Suite. What this means to our patients is that we have one of the best neuroscience teams in the state to take care of them when they need us.
