Adult Psychiatric Services

Eden Medical Center will no longer offer inpatient or outpatient psychiatric services after March 30, 2012. Eden will continue to offer all other licensed services.

The decision to cease providing mental health services was made a few years ago as planning for the new hospital presented space and design constraints that limited the scope of services we could provide in the new building.

The decision in no way reflects a lack of value for the program or the absence of recognizing the thousands of patients who have benefited from the services over the past decades. We thank all of the staff, past and present, former patients, families and the community; all of whom have become part of the legacy of mental health services at Eden.
